Supported & assisted living support

Flexible care and staffing that helps people live with greater independence

CDD can provide person-centred support within supported or assisted living arrangements. The emphasis is on enabling people to manage day-to-day life, make choices, develop skills and participate in their community while receiving the level of help they need.

Support, not accommodation

It's worth being clear: CDD provides the care and support within supported or assisted living settings — we are not a landlord or housing provider. Housing questions sit with the housing or scheme provider; our role is everything that helps the person thrive day to day.

What support may include

  • Daily living support
  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication routines
  • Community participation
  • Appointments
  • Skill-building and independence
  • Flexible staffing aligned to the person’s support plan

An independence-led approach

Supported living works best when support does things with people, not for them. Support workers help individuals build confidence in managing their own routines, learn new skills at their own pace and take an active part in their community — with the right balance of help and encouragement.

Before support begins you will have a written plan that sets out exactly what our supported living support includes, so there are no surprises for you or your family.

Need to talk through what support might be right?

Speak to CDD's care team and arrange an initial care conversation. There is no obligation — just clear answers about what support could look like.
