Care at home
Support to live safely, comfortably and independently in your own home
CDD Healthcare Staffing provides personalised care at home for people who need extra support with everyday life. Care is planned around the individual — their routines, preferences, abilities and the things that matter to them — rather than forcing everybody into the same schedule.
What care at home means in plain English
Home care (sometimes called domiciliary care) means a trained, checked care professional comes to you — or your relative — and helps with the things that have become difficult. That could be getting up and dressed in the morning, preparing a meal, remembering medication or simply having company.
Support can be short-term while someone recovers, or ongoing. It can be a short daily visit or several visits a day. What stays constant is the plan: agreed with you, written down, and reviewed as needs change.

How it works
- A conversation first. Tell us what is happening and what matters most. We answer questions honestly, including whether we are the right fit.
- An assessment at home. We meet the person (and family where appropriate), discuss routines, preferences and risks, and agree the level of support.
- A written care plan. You see exactly what support will be provided, when, by whom, and what it costs — before care begins.
- Regular reviews. We check in with families and review the plan so support keeps adapting to real life.
Continuity and communication
Families tell us that seeing the same familiar faces matters as much as the tasks themselves. We plan for continuity, and you always know who to speak to — with a named point of contact and clear updates when anything changes.
Costs and funding — answered carefully
Care at home is either arranged privately or through funding such as a council assessment, direct payment or NHS continuing healthcare. We are always upfront that costs depend on the level and pattern of support, and we confirm any price in writing before care begins. Not sure what support is needed?
That's normal. A short conversation with our care team usually brings clarity — there's no obligation.
